Project Details
Our Lady of Clonfert Church, Clonfert, Co. Galway underwent major refurbishment works. The church is a Protected Structure within Galway County Council. This building dates back to the 1850’s.
The works consisted of replacement of existing roof and the restoration of historical construction detail including refurbishment of the Sanctuary and the Altar incorporating Carrara marble and masonry works. A sample of works also included floor tiling, new timber floors, re-wiring together with painting and the installation of a curved feature wall behind the altar which was made on site.
As this is a heritage building, attention to detail was paramount throughout the build.
